Dental Implants – Why Us?

At Wyndham House we have a special interest in implant placement and we understand how tooth loss can have a devastating effect on self- esteem and, if left untreated, can lead to unhealthy surrounding teeth and gums. Dental Implants are a perfect solution to address gaps in your mouth or loose dentures. Our dedicated team is able to offer a flexible service at extremely competitive prices without compromising on excellent results achieved always through best practice.

Our dental practice in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan is ideally located with good transport links and parking for those travelling from further afield. We are ideally located whether you are looking for a dentist in Cowbridge, Bridgend, Barry, Merthyr, Cardiff or Newport or even further afield in South Wales.  Starting at just £1,900, our dental implants provide a natural, subtle replacement for missing teeth.

At Wyndham House Dental Practice, our patients’ and referred patients’ needs are at the heart of our services. Individuals seeking dental implants will benefit from out-of-work appointments, no waiting lists and easy payment terms.

A dental implant is made up of a small titanium rod that is “implanted” in to the jaw bone. Once integrated, the rod can be used to support one or more “new” teeth that exactly match the colour and contours of the surrounding teeth. We use Straumann and Sweden Martina products for dental implants. Straumann based in Basel, Switzerland, is world renowned for exceptional quality and clinical excellence and you can find more details on their products at www.straumann.co.uk  . Sweden Martin based in Italy established in 1972, is currently an international leader in the design, production and distribution of products for the dental sector, especially implantology, an area in which it has achieved the world’s highest growth rate. You can find more details on their products at https://www.sweden-martina.com/en_gb/

There’s no need to worry – the placement of implants is a minor procedure usually carried out under a local anaesthetic to ease discomfort and aid a quick recovery.   A period of 8 – 12 weeks is usually plenty of time to allow the rod to fully integrate before the permanent “new teeth” can be fitted. In some circumstances, sooner and even immediate restoration may be possible. However, if it is not possible to fit your new teeth straight away, you may be assured our patients are always provided with provisional teeth of the highest quality for the duration of the therapy so you are able to smile confidently throughout your treatment.

Every patient is different, so contact our surgery now to book a consultation or to discuss a dental implant programme that works for your teeth and lifestyle. Consultations are free for patients who proceed with treatment so why not call us today and we can get started on your treatment straight away.

* You can spread the cost of your treatment in manageable monthly payments either interest free over 12 months or over a longer period at a competitive rate of interest (subject to acceptance by our credit provider).
