Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. We are a busy 7 surgery, mixed practice in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. Easily accessible via car or public transport. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and a comfortable experience for everyone who visits our practice. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Nurse to help us maintain our high standards and provide support to our skilled dentists who offer a wide range of dental treatments. We have an in-house Implantologist, Periodontist we also offer clear and fixed aligners, and much more.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse, registered with the (GDC).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of dental software SOE is preferred, but full training provided
  • Experience with infection control practices and protocols.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations within a dental practice.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatments and procedures, ensuring a high level of care and support.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and manage dental instruments, ensuring they are sterilised and ready for use.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and offer reassurance before, during, and after treatments.
  • Support with the management of infection control within the practice.
  • Manage stock levels for clinical supplies and ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
